[Saba Sports News] Giannis Antetokounmpo wasn’t the only one to have a run-in with John Haliburton during the Bucks-Pacers first-round playoff series.

During a Monday appearance on ESPN Milwaukee, Craig Karmazin—CEO of Good Karma Brands and a part-owner of the Bucks—revealed that Tyrese Haliburton’s father was involved in a separate incident with a fan during Game 3 in Milwaukee.

The Bucks won that game 117-101 at Fiserv Forum, but tensions escalated postgame when Karmazin had to intervene to deescalate a confrontation between John and a Bucks fan.

“Tyrese’s dad was getting into a fight with a fan after Game 3,” Karmazin said, via *Awful Announcing*. “I got in between it. One of our fans was being pretty obnoxious and talking smack, saying, ‘You may beat us in Game 4, but you’re not winning a game in Indiana.’ There were expletives going back and forth.”

Karmazin added that he was concerned the situation might be filmed or posted online and reflect poorly on either party. He attempted to defuse the exchange by physically stepping between them and placing his hands on John’s shoulders, though tensions remained high. Fortunately, the incident didn’t escalate further or have lasting consequences.

However, that wasn’t the end of John Haliburton’s headline-grabbing moments. Following Indiana’s Game 5 series-clinching win, he was seen walking onto the court to taunt Antetokounmpo, prompting a tense courtside confrontation. John later apologized and has since been banned from attending Pacers playoff games for the remainder of the postseason.

His son, Tyrese, has publicly acknowledged that his father’s behavior was out of line.

Now, it turns out that the altercation with Antetokounmpo wasn’t the only flashpoint involving John Haliburton during the heated series.
