[Jolly Sports News] Bronny James, 20, known as the crown prince, was drafted No. 55 by the Lakers in a move widely seen as closely related to his father, LeBron James. According to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, the Lakers will only allow Browne to play in their D-League home games, a decision that is believed to be detrimental to Browne, the South Bay Lakers and James.

The question of whether Browne could make it to the NBA on his own merits is irrelevant because he is the son of James, who has played five regular-season games for the Lakers and one game for the South Bay Lakers in the D-League.
“Brownie will only attend South Bay Lakers home games. As a part-time D-League player, he won’t be flying to road games,” Windhorst reported. I know he got some special treatment because of nepotism, which is normal. There’s no question the Lakers have no problem with that, and they’re doing that.”
