[Jolly Sports News] Detroit Pistons wing Malik Beasley had a colorful message for fans after his team’s victory over the Houston Rockets on Monday.
Following Detroit’s 107-96 win in Houston, Beasley interrupted Cade Cunningham’s postgame interview with an enthusiastic push for Cunningham’s All-Star candidacy.
His plea, however, wasn’t exactly PG-rated.
“Everybody go vote right now! Go f—ing vote! Excuse my French, but go vote!” Beasley exclaimed.
While his outburst might earn him a fine based on league precedent, Beasley seemed unfazed, determined to do whatever it takes to boost his teammate’s All-Star bid.
Cunningham is in the midst of a breakout season, averaging a career-high 24.3 points and 9.4 assists per game. On Monday, he showcased his brilliance with 32 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists in the win.
With the Pistons surging, Cunningham’s teammates are pulling out all the stops to highlight his All-Star-worthy performances.
