[Jolly Sports News] The NBA Draft Combine is happening this week, and one player has already stood out.
Seventy-eight players were invited to participate from May 12-19 at Wintrust Arena and the Marriott Marquis in Chicago. Among them, Kentucky guard Reed Sheppard has made a significant impression.
Sheppard posted a 42-inch vertical leap, the best mark at the combine so far. He also excelled in a 3-point shooting drill, going 15/20 (75%).
As a freshman for the Wildcats last season, Sheppard averaged 12.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 2.5 steals per game, with a 52.1% success rate on threes. His performance on Monday shows his skills translate well on the court.
