[Saba Sports News] Luka Doncic had some strong words for himself following a disappointing performance in the Los Angeles Lakers’ 123-116 loss to the Golden State Warriors on Thursday night at Crypto.com Arena.

Doncic struggled mightily, shooting just 6-of-17 from the field and finishing with 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists. While he was a perfect 7-of-7 from the free throw line, he missed all six of his three-point attempts—marking his first game without a made three since April 7, 2023.

“That performance by me is unacceptable,” Doncic said postgame. “When I play like that, it’s hard to win, so I’ve gotta figure it out.”

One of the game’s most critical moments came in the final minute when Doncic was stripped by Draymond Green, a turnover that helped seal the win for the Warriors.

Despite the off night, it’s likely just a blip for Doncic, who came into the matchup averaging 27.2 points on 41.5 percent shooting. Still, the loss tightens the playoff race, cutting the Lakers’ lead over Golden State to just one game.
