LeBron James Reveals Worst Travel He Ever Got Away With

[Saba Sports News] LeBron James has committed his fair share of travels during his 22-year NBA career, but one stands out as his personal favorite.

On the latest episode of his Mind The Game podcast with Steve Nash, the Lakers star was asked to name the most blatant travel he ever got away with. James pointed to a game in February 2017, when he was still with the Cleveland Cavaliers, as his “crowning achievement.”

In that matchup against the Washington Wizards, James went coast-to-coast late in the game and took a clear third step after picking up his dribble—only to miss the layup.

Despite referee Tony Brothers having a clear view of the play, no whistle was blown. The Cavaliers went on to win the game 140-135 in overtime.

James has a lengthy highlight reel of questionable footwork, making it tough to crown just one moment. But for him, that 2017 misstep stands above the rest.
