On Saturday, after Colorado’s dominant 49-24 win over Utah, James took to X to deliver a sharp message to Sanders’ critics. Highlighting the team’s success, James pointed out that detractors have gone quiet as Sanders has elevated his message from “we coming” to “we here.”

James has long been a supporter of Sanders, even advocating for him as a potential Florida State coach before Sanders began his collegiate coaching journey. With Colorado’s impressive turnaround this season, James’ belief in Coach Prime looks spot-on.
However, James may also be feeling a hint of disappointment, given recent reports that Sanders is unlikely to be considered for his beloved Dallas Cowboys.
Saturday’s win brought Colorado to 8-2 on the season, a four-game improvement from last year. While Sanders’ methods may not resonate with everyone, there’s no denying their effectiveness in delivering results.
