[Jolly Sports News] Julius Randle seems quite happy about his trade from the New York Knicks to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Speaking about the deal that sent Karl-Anthony Towns to New York, Randle expressed his enthusiasm, calling the move a “breath of fresh air” and emphasizing how valued he feels in Minnesota.

“You want to be somewhere where you feel wanted. I feel wanted here,” Randle shared with Jamal Collier of ESPN. “At this point in my career, I’ve achieved a lot individually, but now I want to win a championship. This is the perfect opportunity for that.”

He added, “It was a breath of fresh air. I’m excited to bring everything I’ve learned here over the past five years and help these guys out. My only goal is to help.”

Previously a centerpiece for the Knicks, Randle saw Jalen Brunson take over that role last season.

Due to injuries limiting him to 46 games, trade rumors had swirled, possibly leaving him feeling undervalued in New York. It appears that Minnesota’s other new addition is equally pleased with the move.
