[Jolly Sports News] Isaiah Stewart was back to his fiery ways this week.

The Detroit Pistons big man was ejected from Wednesday’s game against the Indiana Pacers after striking Thomas Bryant. With under nine minutes left in the second quarter, Stewart got overly aggressive on a box-out and sent Bryant crashing to the floor with a shoulder charge.

An enraged Bryant had to be held back from retaliating, while referee crew chief Tyler Ford immediately signaled for Stewart’s ejection. A replay review confirmed a flagrant-2 foul, sealing Stewart’s early exit.

Bryant missed both flagrant-foul free throws, but the Pacers still carried a 74-64 lead into halftime.

Tensions between the Pistons and Pacers are starting to resemble their mid-2000s rivalry, and Stewart remains in the middle of it. He was already involved in a heated exchange the last time these teams met.

His ejection on Wednesday was just another addition to his growing reputation—after all, this is the same player who once charged at LeBron James and even brawled with an opponent in an arena tunnel, an incident that led to his arrest.
