[Jolly Sports News] The Miami Heat have hit their stride recently, despite the turmoil surrounding franchise star Jimmy Butler, who is currently serving a seven-game suspension for alleged unprofessional behavior.

Butler has made it clear he wants to be traded, but at 35 years old, the market for him appears lukewarm.

NBA insider Chris Haynes recently discussed the situation on the *Dan Le Batard Show*, shedding light on the Heat’s trade efforts and Butler’s future with the team.

“They’ve made it known that they are entertaining offers,” said Haynes. “But from what I’ve heard around the league, the Miami Heat aren’t anywhere close to a Jimmy Butler trade.”

Haynes also addressed the prospect of Butler returning to the Heat lineup once his suspension ends.

“I’m told he is fully prepared to return to play for the Miami Heat if he is not moved by the time his suspension is lifted,” said Haynes.

If history is any indication, the Heat excel in adversity. In the post-LeBron James era, the franchise has consistently defied the odds.

A prime example is the 2023 postseason when the Heat, after narrowly surviving the play-in tournament, stormed through the playoffs to reach the NBA Finals, led by Butler’s stellar performances and a strong supporting cast.

Similarly, amid the current controversy, the Heat rattled off three consecutive wins during their West Coast road trip before a loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night.

Their road trip continues with a matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday, as the team looks to maintain momentum despite the ongoing uncertainty surrounding their star player.
