[Saba Sports News] Steph Curry put his hops on display late in the Golden State Warriors’ Saturday showdown against the Philadelphia 76ers.
With just over seven minutes left and the Warriors trailing 109-102 at Wells Fargo Center, Golden State sharpshooter Buddy Hield stripped Philly big man Guerschon Yabusele and fired an outlet pass to a wide-open Curry.
With a clear path ahead, the 36-year-old took off with a firm two-footed leap and threw down a one-handed slam—his first in-game dunk since the 2018-19 season.
Fans on X went wild over Curry proving he still has some bounce left in the tank.
His dunk fueled a 9-0 Warriors run that helped them erase a 15-point second-half deficit. However, despite Curry’s 29-point performance and rare above-the-rim moment, Golden State ultimately fell short, losing 126-119.
