[Jolly Sports News] Dillon Brooks has once again landed himself in hot water.
The NBA announced Wednesday that the Houston Rockets swingman has been fined $25,000 for using profanity during a recent interview.
The moment came after Brooks played a key role in Houston’s upset win over the Celtics in Boston on Monday night.
With 0.7 seconds left, Rockets rookie Amen Thompson hit the game-winning shot to break a 112-112 tie. During a joint postgame interview with Thompson, Brooks couldn’t hold back his excitement, declaring, “I knew that motherf—er was going in!”
The 29-year-old Brooks is having a stellar season with the Rockets, even draining a ridiculous 10 three-pointers in Monday’s win.
But he still has a knack for stirring controversy—this week alone, he not only picked up a fine but also made headlines for putting his hand on an opponent’s neck.
