[Jolly Sports News] Dennis Schroder won’t be seeing his jersey in the Warriors’ rafters anytime soon.
After being shipped out by Golden State in the Jimmy Butler mega-trade, Schroder found himself on a whirlwind tour—going from Miami to Utah before finally landing in Detroit.
When the Warriors posted a general “thank you” message for him, Kyle Anderson, and Lindy Waters III, Schroder wasn’t thrilled. He responded on Instagram with a salty remark: *“wasn’t even worth my own post huh? thx too tho.”*
For context, Andrew Wiggins, who was also part of the trade, got his own farewell post—rightfully so, given his All-Star run and key role in Golden State’s 2022 championship. Schroder, on the other hand, was only with the team for six weeks.
Clearly, the veteran guard isn’t taking the trade chaos lightly. Just days ago, he stirred controversy by comparing the trade deadline to slavery, and now, he’s throwing shade over his lackluster send-off.
