[Jolly Sports News] While still active in the NBA, Chris Paul is already making strides in his media career. ESPN announced that the Golden State Warriors guard will serve as a guest analyst for the upcoming Eastern Conference Finals. Paul will join the “NBA Countdown” team, appearing as both a pregame and halftime analyst.
The 12-time All-Star, who recently turned 39, just completed his 19th NBA season. Despite being on a non-guaranteed contract for 2024-25, which allows the Warriors to waive him without penalty before June 28, Paul has stated that he intends to continue playing.
ESPN frequently features former NBA players as analysts, such as Richard Jefferson, Kendrick Perkins, Udonis Haslem, Danny Green, and Austin Rivers. Although it’s less common for current players, Paul is set to fill in for a peer who was recently banned by ESPN.
