[Jolly Sports News] Charles Barkley didn’t hold back during Tuesday night’s episode of Inside the NBA, where he dove headfirst into a sensitive topic with his trademark humor.

When Kenny Smith casually mentioned Jay-Z while making a point, Barkley quickly interjected, tapping Smith’s arm and quipping, “Probably not a good time right now.”

The remark left co-hosts Shaquille O’Neal and Ernie Johnson in stitches, with both getting up from the table. Even the production crew could be heard laughing off-camera.

Barkley’s comment referred to recent headlines involving Jay-Z, who was named in a civil lawsuit alongside Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The lawsuit alleges that the two drugged and sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl at a party in 2000. Jay-Z has vehemently denied the allegations, calling them “heinous.”

While the topic is undeniably sensitive, Barkley’s unfiltered commentary has long been a staple of Inside the NBA, helping make it one of the most popular and talked-about shows in sports.
