[Jolly Sports News] Anne Hathaway passed the vibe check after a near-miss courtside at a Knicks game this week.
The New York native and her son were seated front and center during Wednesday’s matchup between the Knicks and the Chicago Bulls at Madison Square Garden.
Early in the game, Knicks forward OG Anunoby deflected a pass out of bounds and tumbled into the barrier near Hathaway, accidentally spilling some snacks on them.
Taking it in stride, Hathaway posted a clip of the incident on Instagram the next day, along with a lighthearted video message, “I almost got crashed into last night. I always wanted that to happen. Thanks, OG!”
Anunoby responded in the comments with a simple, “You’re welcome.”
Known for her roles in films like Les Misérables and as a proud Knicks fan (thanks to her NYC roots and time at NYU), Hathaway is no stranger to MSG’s celebrity-packed “Celebrity Row.”
But while many stars engage with opposing players, Hathaway’s brush with the action came courtesy of a Knicks player—snack spillage and all!
