[Jolly Sports News] Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro had some sharp words for a Houston Rockets player after Sunday’s chaotic game between the two teams.

The Heat edged out the Rockets 104-100 at the Toyota Center in Houston, but the game’s final moments were overshadowed by a heated altercation.

During a sideline inbound play, Herro and Rockets wing Amen Thompson got tangled up. Thompson grabbed Herro by the jersey and slammed him to the court, sparking a scuffle.

The fallout saw Thompson, Jalen Green, Heat guard Terry Rozier, and Rockets coaches Ime Udoka and Ben Sullivan all ejected.

When asked about the incident after the game, Herro suggested that Thompson’s frustration stemmed from his dominant performance.

“I guess that’s what happens when someone is scoring, throwing dimes, doing the whole thing,” said Herro. “I’d get mad, too.”

With Jimmy Butler sidelined, Herro was the Heat’s go-to scorer, racking up 27 points on 10-of-17 shooting, along with 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Thompson, on the other hand, finished with a modest stat line of 5 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists in 32 minutes.

The game’s intensity had already escalated before the Herro-Thompson altercation, as Rockets guard Fred VanVleet was ejected earlier for bumping referee Marc Davis. Emotions ran high, but it was Herro who had the last word—on the court and off it.
