[Jolly Sports News] Young and the Atlanta Hawks stormed into Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night, knocking the Knicks out of NBA Cup contention with a 108-100 quarterfinal victory.

Young spearheaded the effort with 22 points and 11 assists, while teammate Jalen Johnson delivered a monster 21-15-7-2-2 performance.

As the game wound down, Young added a layer of disrespect by mocking the Knicks’ logo at center court. Dribbling out the clock, he hunched over and mimed rolling dice over the logo, signaling the Hawks’ upcoming trip to Las Vegas for the NBA Cup semifinals and finals.

The gesture wasn’t unprovoked—MSG fans had once again showered Young with chants of “F–k Trae Young” throughout the game.

The three-time All-Star has been a New York villain since the 2021 playoff series where he led the Hawks to a first-round victory over the Knicks, antagonizing the MSG crowd at every turn.

The bad blood hasn’t cooled, with Young even trolling Knicks fans during a recent win in Atlanta.

Wednesday was another chapter in the rivalry, as Knicks fans sought NBA Cup vengeance. Instead, Young once again crushed their hopes—and their logo.
