This championship series is bound to be a great matchup as defending champion TNT (Stunt Team) and challenger Barangay Ginebra can’t wait to get a head start in the playoff race for four wins.

Proceeds from the match, which kicks off at 7.30pm, will be donated to Typhoon Kristine victims through TV5’s Alagang Kapatid Foundation. Commissioner Willie Marcial estimated sales at between 1.5 million and 2 million pesos.

Game 1 and the series were fraught with suspense for many, as Sunday marked TNT’s first meeting with Genebla in the tournament and the second time the teams faced off against their foreign champions since the 2023 Finals.

For Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Justin Brownlee, the series was pretty much a tiebreaker. RHJ led TNT to glory in their first-ever PBA duel, while JB fought back in the 2023 Asian Games gold medal game, helping the Philippine national team to a win over RHJ and his Jordan team.
