[Jolly Sports News] The Phoenix Suns are in the midst of a five-game skid, missing two of their three stars, but reinforcements could arrive soon.

Head coach Mike Budenholzer shared Friday that Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal participated in light practice sessions and limited 3-on-3 drills. If all goes well, both are expected to return next Tuesday against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Beal has been sidelined since Nov. 12 with a calf injury, while Durant has been out since Nov. 8 with a similar calf strain. Durant’s recovery timeline of approximately two weeks puts him right on schedule.

The Suns were dominant at 8-1 when Durant and Beal shared the court with Devin Booker but have struggled to a 1-6 record since Durant’s injury. Many of their recent losses have been lopsided, including a 23-point defeat to Sacramento and two 16-point losses to Oklahoma City and New York.

With matchups against the Lakers and Golden State Warriors approaching, the Suns are eager to get back on track with a fully healthy roster.
