[Jolly Sports News] Steve Kerr provided a significant update on Stephen Curry’s ankle injury following the Golden State Warriors’ win over the Washington Wizards on Saturday.

The Warriors secured their second straight victory, but the game wasn’t without its concerns.

In the fourth quarter, Curry got tangled with former teammate Jordan Poole under the basket and briefly stayed on the court before heading to the locker room.

While the extent of the injury wasn’t immediately clear, Kerr reassured reporters during the post-game press conference, saying, “Steph just told me he doesn’t think it’s serious.”

This news is a relief for Warriors fans, as Curry played a crucial role in the win, finishing with 26 points, six assists, and five rebounds, including key plays in the fourth quarter.

However, Curry wasn’t the only injury concern for the Warriors. Draymond Green, who had just returned from a three-game absence due to illness, exited in the first quarter with left calf tightness. Kerr revealed that Green will undergo an MRI on Sunday and, like Curry, is considered day-to-day.

The Warriors are set to face the defending champion Boston Celtics on Monday, and Curry’s availability remains uncertain. Fans and the team alike will keep a close eye on the injury report to see if their star player can return to action in time.

While the team hopes to have both Curry and Green back soon, their status for the upcoming game remains to be seen.
