[Jolly Sports News] San Antonio Spurs big man Zach Collins is likely to hear from the NBA league office following an incident during Friday’s game against the Sacramento Kings.

Collins was ejected early in the second quarter after picking up his third foul and voicing his frustration to referee Michael Smith.

The exchange led Smith to issue two quick technical fouls, ejecting Collins from the game. As he exited, Collins made a bold statement by flipping off Smith before heading to the locker room.

Starting in place of the injured Victor Wembanyama (back), Collins was poised for a significant role but managed just two points in nine minutes due to foul trouble and the ejection.

The Kings, known for their ability to draw fouls, feature several players skilled at getting to the line, including De’Aaron Fox, Domantas Sabonis, and DeMar DeRozan.

That knack for drawing contact has frustrated opponents, as seen in Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant’s ejection against Sacramento just one night earlier.
