[Jolly Sports News] San Antonio Spurs superstar Victor Wembanyama turns 21 on Saturday, and he marked the occasion with a 35-point, 18-rebound performance on Friday night, leading his team to victory over the Denver Nuggets.

Beyond his personal celebration, Wembanyama also achieved a significant career milestone in Denver. The 113-110 victory was his 100th NBA game.

Impressively, he compares favorably with some of the league’s all-time greats. In total, Wembanyama has scored 2,273 points, averaging 22.7 points per game. This puts him ahead of players like LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Carmelo Anthony.

He is just the seventh player in the last 45 years to score this many points through 100 games and the 12th player to do so before turning 21.

Only four players have averaged more points per game before the age of 21 (minimum 50 games).

As legendary pitchman Billy Mays would say, “But wait! There’s more!”

Wembanyama’s 386 assists through 100 games rank third-most in league history for players listed at 7 feet or taller. His 366 blocks also rank third-most ever through 100 games since blocks became an official stat in the 1971-72 season.

However, as the viral post on X highlights, Wembanyama’s 225 three-pointers are perhaps the most impressive stat. This ranks 11th-most in NBA history through 100 games and is 25 ahead of the pace set by Steph Curry, the league’s all-time leader.

“It’s a hell of an adventure. It’s just the start,” Wembanyama told reporters after the game on Friday night.

As long as he remains healthy, the sky’s the limit for what Wembanyama can achieve.
