[Jolly Sports News] After winning an NBA championship with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020, Dwight Howard is now celebrating another ring—this time, a personal one.
The eight-time NBA All-Star announced on social media Friday that he is engaged to his girlfriend, Amy Luciani.
“Happy,” Howard wrote in an Instagram post, adding the hashtags #blacklove and #prayedforthis. Luciani also shared a post earlier in the day, showing off a massive engagement ring from Howard.
This marks the first time Howard has publicly mentioned Luciani, a rapper and cast member of “Love and Hip-Hop: Atlanta.” At 39, Howard seems to have found love again despite a tumultuous personal life, which includes five children with five different women and a recently dismissed sexual assault lawsuit that thrust his private life into the spotlight.
Though Howard hasn’t played in the NBA since 2022, he’s been keeping busy. Earlier this year, he competed on ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars” and has pursued intriguing business ventures overseas.
