[Saba Sports] Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker praised one unique feature of the Clippers’ new $2 billion Intuit Dome: “The Wall.”
This steep, 51-row section behind the basket where visiting teams shoot in the second half was packed with passionate fans during the Clippers’ regular-season debut against the Suns.
The intense environment seemed to rattle even star players like Kevin Durant, who missed free throws in the second half.
Booker himself admitted, “I missed a free throw, man. I was pissed… (Durant) missed two down there, too, so that s–t might work.” Despite the challenge, the Suns edged out the Clippers 116-113 in overtime.
