Dan Hurley Trolls Creighton Fans with Klay Thompson Vibes

[Jolly Sports News] Dan Hurley made sure Creighton fans didn’t forget his coaching résumé on Tuesday night.  

 

After leading UConn to a 70-66 comeback win over No. 24 Creighton, Hurley had some fun with lingering Bluejays fans who were chirping at him postgame. 

 

Never one to shy away from the banter, he mockingly waved goodbye and channeled his inner Klay Thompson, repeatedly pointing to his finger and shouting, “Two rings! Two rings!”

 

Hurley was, of course, referencing UConn’s back-to-back NCAA championships. The moment was reminiscent of Thompson taunting Devin Booker in a Warriors-Suns game two seasons ago—a jab Thompson later regretted, though it’s hard to imagine Hurley feeling the same way.  

 

The Huskies stormed back from a 14-point first-half deficit, fueled by a career night from freshman Liam McNeeley, who erupted for 38 points and 10 rebounds on
