But the anti-Nico sentiment isn’t staying confined to the hardwood. Chants calling for his firing have erupted at a Dallas Stars NHL game and an FC Dallas MLS match. It wouldn’t be shocking if the Texas Rangers’ 2025 season opener features a similar chorus.
In perhaps the most bizarre display of fan fury yet, Mavericks faithful even brought their grievances to a **Medieval Times** dinner show in Dallas over the weekend.
“Fire Nico! Fire Nico!” they chanted, as knights battled in staged combat. If Harrison had been in attendance, there’s a good chance fans would have demanded he face a trial by combat of his own.
Now a month removed from the NBA trade deadline, the anger toward Harrison shows no signs of fading. If the reaction to his recent message to Kyrie Irving is any indication, Dallas fans won’t be letting this go anytime soon.
