Could an Eastern Conference Team Assist the Suns in Moving Bradley Beal?

[Jolly Sports News] Bradley Beal has become a challenging fit for the Phoenix Suns, but a new report suggests that an Eastern Conference team might step in to assist.

In his Sunday notes column, NBA reporter Marc Stein mentioned that the Milwaukee Bucks could revisit their interest in Beal. The Bucks theoretically have the contracts to make a deal work, though the Suns’ restrictive second apron cap situation prevents them from taking on additional salary.

The Bucks previously pursued Beal a year and a half ago but ultimately traded for Damian Lillard instead. Now, they might consider pairing Lillard with Beal to create a potent offensive trio alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo.

However, such a trade would do little to address Milwaukee’s defensive weaknesses. Additionally, Beal would need to waive his no-trade clause and agree to a move to Milwaukee, which is far from guaranteed.

Beal’s contract is also viewed as a major roadblock for the Suns in their pursuit of Miami’s Jimmy Butler. Finding a third team to take on Beal — and securing Beal’s consent for the trade — could be the key to facilitating a deal with the Heat.

This season, Beal is averaging 17.5 points per game but has struggled to carve out a consistent role in the Suns’ offense alongside Kevin Durant and Devin Booker. Moving Beal could be a critical step in reshaping Phoenix’s roster for better synergy and long-term success.
