[Jolly Sports News] Anthony Edwards didn’t hold back his frustration with the Minnesota Timberwolves following their blowout loss to the New York Knicks on Thursday night.

The Timberwolves were embarrassed at home, falling 133-107 in a game that wasn’t competitive for the final three quarters. To make matters worse, it came in a “revenge game” after Minnesota traded Karl-Anthony Towns to the Knicks in the offseason for Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo. Towns dominated with 32 points, 20 rebounds, and a +31 rating.

After the defeat, Edwards shared harsh words about the team’s struggles.

“We don’t have sh-t on offense,” Edwards said bluntly in the locker room. “We don’t have no identity. We know I’m gonna shoot a bunch of shots, we know [Julius Randle] gonna shoot a bunch of shots, and that’s all we know.”

He clarified that he doesn’t blame the coaching staff, placing the responsibility squarely on the players.

“It’s not on the coaches at all; it’s on us. We’re out there playing. We gotta make it easier for each other. Coaches put us in great position. We just don’t do it,” Edwards added.

The Timberwolves, now 14-12, have fallen short of expectations after a strong 56-26 record last season that took them to the Western Conference Finals. Currently averaging just 109.7 points per game—tied for 23rd in the league—they have plenty of work to do.

While the team has won six of their last eight games, Edwards’ comments underscore that there’s still significant room for improvement.
