[Jolly Sports News] Amazon is continuing to build an all-star lineup for its NBA broadcasting debut. It was reported Sunday that retired NBA star Blake Griffin will join Amazon Prime’s NBA studio coverage starting next season.

Amazon has secured broadcast rights to the NBA for the 2025-26 through 2035-36 seasons. Griffin will be part of a high-profile team that already includes Dirk Nowitzki, whose involvement had been previously rumored.

Griffin, now 35, retired in April 2023 after a standout career. A six-time All-Star and five-time All-NBA selection, Griffin was a dominant force in the league during the 2010s and became one of basketball’s biggest stars.

Known for his charisma and humor, Griffin’s strong show-business personality is expected to make him a natural fit for the broadcast booth.

Amazon has also brought on veteran sportscaster Ian Eagle as its lead NBA play-by-play announcer, adding to the star power. With Griffin, Nowitzki, and a promising up-and-comer as the primary studio host, Amazon is poised to make a splash in its NBA coverage.
