[Jolly Sports News] Aaron Gordon and the Denver Nuggets finalized a major deal just ahead of the 2024-25 season.
Gordon has agreed to a four-year, $133 million extension, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania. The contract includes a player option for the 2028-29 season and a trade kicker.
As part of the agreement, Gordon will opt into his $23 million player option for 2025-26, followed by a maximum salary nearing $37 million annually for the next three years.
Since joining the Nuggets in 2021, Gordon has averaged 14.5 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 2.9 assists on 54.2% shooting, complementing Nikola Jokic in the frontcourt.
With this extension, the Nuggets have secured their core of Jokic, Gordon, Jamal Murray, and Michael Porter Jr., all signed through at least the next three seasons.
