[Saba Sports News] Giannis Antetokounmpo may have given the Milwaukee Bucks quite a scare this week.

A viral video that surfaced Monday captured a tense moment as the Bucks superstar took a hard fall while in Brazil. Antetokounmpo was in Rio de Janeiro for a special event to dedicate a basketball court named in his honor.

In front of a lively crowd, Antetokounmpo attempted to christen the court with a dunk—but slipped on takeoff and crashed to the ground. Thankfully, the two-time MVP quickly popped back up and appeared unharmed, walking it off without issue. Still, it was undoubtedly a nerve-wracking moment for the Bucks, given Antetokounmpo’s importance to the franchise and the $175 million investment they’ve made in him. He was in Brazil as part of a family vacation.

The fall comes at a particularly delicate time for Milwaukee. Antetokounmpo has been the center of growing trade speculation following the team’s early playoff exit and co-star Damian Lillard’s Achilles injury. Multiple teams have been linked to potential interest in the nine-time All-Star.

Although recent reports suggest Antetokounmpo may be open to a change of scenery, some local insiders still doubt the Bucks will actually move him this offseason. Regardless, Milwaukee might want to keep their franchise cornerstone away from any more high-flying dunks—at least for now.
