[Saba Sports News] Few fanbases celebrate like New York Knicks supporters after a major playoff win — and Monday night was no exception.
The Knicks defeated the Boston Celtics 121-113 in Game 4 of their Eastern Conference semifinal at Madison Square Garden. New York seized momentum late in the third quarter and held firm through Boston’s counterpunches to secure the victory.
Mikal Bridges (23 points) and OG Anunoby (20 points) came up big in the final stretch, combining for 19 fourth-quarter points alongside Jalen Brunson, who led the way with 39 points and several clutch buckets to close out the game.
The energy inside MSG was electric, but it didn’t stop there. As the final buzzer sounded, Knicks fans erupted — pouring into the streets around the Garden in full celebration mode.
The victory puts New York just one win away from its first Eastern Conference Finals appearance since 2000.
With Jayson Tatum exiting late in the game due to a potentially serious injury, the Knicks suddenly find themselves in control of the series against the defending NBA champions.
