[Saba Sports News] Speculation continues to swirl around Giannis Antetokounmpo’s future with the Milwaukee Bucks, and it appears the two-time MVP has yet to rule out a potential departure.

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, Antetokounmpo has not made a definitive decision about his long-term future in Milwaukee.

While he has previously expressed a strong desire to remain with the Bucks, Charania reports that Giannis is now “open-minded about exploring whether his best long-term fit is staying in Milwaukee or playing elsewhere” — a first in his career.

The Bucks are expected to meet with Antetokounmpo’s camp in the coming weeks, while the rest of the league closely watches how the situation unfolds. Giannis signed a supermax extension in 2023 and is under contract through 2026-27, with a \$62.8 million player option for 2027-28.

Despite another stellar season — averaging 30.4 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 6.5 assists in the regular season and even better numbers in the playoffs — Antetokounmpo’s efforts weren’t enough to carry Milwaukee past the first round.

The Bucks fell in five games to the Indiana Pacers, with co-star Damian Lillard suffering a torn Achilles during the series after returning from a blood clot scare.

While one teammate recently expressed confidence that Giannis will stay, the Bucks’ outlook is murky. The team has limited trade assets, lacks a first-round pick until 2031, and has made only one deep playoff run since their 2021 championship.

If Antetokounmpo does consider moving on, several teams are already being floated as potential landing spots for the 30-year-old superstar.
