[Saba Sports News] Giannis Antetokounmpo is maintaining his signature sense of humor as questions about his future swirl ahead of a pivotal offseason.

Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis made an appearance this week on FanDuel TV’s Run It Back and was asked about his star teammate’s long-term commitment to the franchise.

“Giannis bleeds green,” Portis said, referencing the Bucks’ colors. “I think he wants to be that Tim Duncan, Kobe [Bryant], Steph Curry-type of player who stays with one team.”

The comments caught the attention of Antetokounmpo himself, who responded with a lighthearted four-word comment on Instagram“Don’t worry about me!”

True to form, Antetokounmpo then shifted the spotlight to Portis, jokingly asking, “What you doing Bobby, you staying or leaving?!”—complete with a laughing emoji.

While Antetokounmpo’s future is a hot topic, Portis has his own decision to make this summer, as he can decline his $13.4 million player option and become a free agent.

Still, all eyes are on Antetokounmpo. The 30-year-old remains under contract through at least the 2026–27 season, but Milwaukee’s early playoff exit and the uncertain status of Damian Lillard—who may miss all of next season with an Achilles injury—have sparked speculation about a possible rebuild.

Rumors have already surfaced regarding Antetokounmpo’s hypothetical trade preferences, and the idea of the Bucks moving him for a massive haul of future assets is no longer out of the question.
