[Saba Sports News] The San Antonio Spurs gave rookie Stephon Castle a hard time with a well-executed prank on Wednesday.

Spurs guard Devin Vassell shared a video on Instagram showing Castle being led to his car—only to find that his wheels had been removed, leaving the vehicle hilariously low to the ground. The team erupted in laughter as Castle took in the scene.

De’Aaron Fox, who joined the Spurs in February, explained the reasoning behind the prank, saying Castle had it too easy as a rookie.

“Steph doesn’t do anything. He doesn’t have any rookie duties, which is crazy to me,” Fox said.

Meanwhile, teammate Jeremy Sochan hinted that Sandro Mamukelashvili may have masterminded the prank.

Despite the antics, the Spurs still handled business on the court, defeating the Mavericks 126-116. As far as rookie pranks go, Castle got off pretty lightly—things could have been much worse!
