Clark was in Indianapolis on Friday to watch her Iowa Hawkeyes compete in the Big Ten Tournament, but it wasn’t just her presence that grabbed attention—it was her noticeably bigger arms.
Many fans quickly pointed out her apparent muscle gain, even sharing a side-by-side comparison of the new image alongside a shot of Clark from her rookie season with the Indiana Fever. Even considering that Clark was flexing in the latest photo, the transformation was hard to miss.
Last season, Clark was candid about how exhausting her transition from college to the WNBA had been, as she had little to no offseason. It wouldn’t be surprising if she dedicated extra time to strength training after her first year as a pro.
If she’s been adding muscle, it might also explain why her golf game looked a little off when fans last saw her swing.
Clark averaged 19.2 points and 8.4 rebounds per game in her rookie campaign, proving she belonged at the highest level. If this viral photo is any indication, she could be even more dominant in Year 2.
