[Saba Sports News] LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are staring down a grueling stretch of games, and he’s not exactly thrilled about it.

On Saturday, James took to Instagram to highlight the Lakers’ upcoming schedule, which includes six games in eight days. The four-time MVP didn’t hold back his feelings about the demanding stretch.

The condensed schedule stems from two home games the Lakers had postponed in January due to the Los Angeles wildfires.

While their matchup against Charlotte was already made up, their rescheduled March 17 game against San Antonio forced a domino effect, pushing their Milwaukee game from March 18 to March 20—eliminating a crucial rest day.

James’ frustration is understandable, but with less than two months left in the regular season, the NBA had limited options to fit the San Antonio game in. The end result? A brutal run of games at a crucial time in the playoff race.

While James controversially skipped the All-Star Game for extra rest, the Lakers will likely manage his minutes carefully through this tough stretch. Still, with the team fighting to stay out of play-in territory, it’s far from an ideal situation.

Even at 40, James continues to put up elite numbers, averaging 24.7 points, 8.9 assists, and 7.7 rebounds while logging 34.6 minutes per game.
