[Jolly Sports News] Players and fans are buzzing with reactions to the latest NBA All-Star Weekend, with opinions split on the revamped format.

While Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant praised the four-team tournament, Draymond Green was far from impressed.

The event showed flashes of intensity, but without a major boost in overall effort, the midseason showcase is unlikely to be deemed a true success.

The NBA continues searching for ways to inject new life into the festivities, and Commissioner Adam Silver may have a fresh idea to shake things up.

Having already borrowed from international soccer to introduce the in-season tournament, Silver might look to another source for inspiration. The 3-on-3 women’s league *Unrivaled*, founded by WNBA stars Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier, recently hosted a one-on-one tournament, with Collier taking home a $200,000 grand prize. Now, the NBA is reportedly considering a similar concept.

According to Ryan Glasspiegel of *Front Office Sports*, “One spy told FOS that a $1 million prize has been discussed for a one-on-one event at NBA All-Star Weekend.”

Fans have long wanted a one-on-one tournament, and with the women’s game already putting it into action, momentum could be building for the NBA to follow suit.
