[Jolly Sports News] With the NBA revamping the format for the 2025 All-Star Game, Shaquille O’Neal’s OGs triumphed over Charles Barkley’s Global Stars after first taking down Candice Parker’s Rising Stars. Among Shaq’s OGs was Los Angeles Clippers star James Harden, who wasted no time celebrating the win on social media.
Harden shared a post featuring himself alongside All-Star teammates Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant with the caption, “OGs #Uno.” The reference to “Uno” ties back to Harden’s Clippers jersey number.
His post quickly stirred emotions among NBA fans, many of whom reflected on the reality that these three legends are nearing the final chapters of their careers. Sunday’s game was a rare—and possibly final—chance to see them play together on the same squad.
Following the OGs’ victory, Curry was named All-Star Game MVP. With a target score set at 40, the OGs topped the Global Stars 41-25 after defeating the Rising Stars 42-35 in the opening round.
Harden logged three points, one rebound, and two assists in nine minutes against the Rising Stars, then added three points, two rebounds, and four assists in eight minutes against the Global Stars.
The new All-Star format sparked plenty of debate, but if one thing was clear, it’s that the league’s veterans still have plenty of game left. The OGs squad featured Harden, Durant, Curry, Kyrie Irving, Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Damian Lillard. LeBron James was also on the team but sat out due to an ankle injury.
