[Jolly Sports News]Anthony Davis will keep things familiar as he transitions to the Dallas Mavericks.
According to Mike Curtis of the *Dallas Morning News*, the 10-time All-Star will wear the No. 3 jersey in Dallas—the same number he sported throughout his time with the Los Angeles Lakers since 2019.
Davis previously wore No. 23 in college at Kentucky and with the New Orleans Pelicans, as well as No. 14 with Team USA. However, No. 3 was available in Dallas after last being worn by Alex Fudge during the 2023-24 season.
Davis confirmed the choice himself by updating his Instagram profile picture to an image of him in a No. 3 Mavericks jersey.
