[Jolly Sports News] Steph Curry stepped up in a thoughtful way to support JJ Redick’s family following the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.
Earlier this month, Los Angeles Lakers head coach JJ Redick lost his home in the Pacific Palisades fire, a tragedy he’s openly discussed as he works to help rebuild the affected community.
On Saturday, Curry’s Golden State Warriors faced Redick’s Lakers at Chase Center in San Francisco. After the game, Curry gifted two of his jerseys to Redick’s young sons, Knox and Kai—a touching gesture to lift their spirits.
While the Redick family has the resources to rebuild elsewhere, the irreplaceable personal items lost in the fire, including the boys’ NBA memorabilia, make such gestures even more meaningful.
Curry, known for his kindness toward young fans, has a history of going above and beyond, including a similar heartfelt moment with a fan last month.
