[Jolly Sports News] Bo Nix might not be the only one with a cannon in Denver.
Nuggets star Nikola Jokic delivered yet another jaw-dropping moment on Thursday night against the Sacramento Kings. With just 1.7 seconds left in the third quarter, Jokic received an inbounds pass from Aaron Gordon and casually launched the ball from three-quarters court.
As if guided by divine intervention, the shot soared through the air and dropped straight into the net for an improbable three points.
It’s the kind of shot only a handful of players—maybe Steph Curry—could dream of making, though even Curry might need two hands for the job. Jokic, ever the wizard, made it look effortless, reminding everyone of his unmatched touch from anywhere on the court.
The three-time MVP wasn’t done there. Jokic capped off the night with a monstrous 35-point, 22-rebound, and 17-assist triple-double, leading Denver to a 132-123 win over Sacramento.
Known for his highlight-reel passes from deep, Jokic showed he’s just as capable of hitting the bottom of the net from beyond belief.
