[Jolly Sports News] Draymond Green channeled Stephen Curry’s signature celebration during a crucial win over Rudy Gobert and the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday at Chase Center in San Francisco.

With the Warriors leading 112-106 and just over 30 seconds left, Green found himself in an isolation matchup against Gobert near the top of the key. Curry came up to set a ball screen, but before the Timberwolves could react, Green blew past everyone for a game-sealing dunk.

As Green ran back on defense, he celebrated the moment with Curry’s iconic “night night” gesture, holding it up long enough to make sure Gobert noticed. Even Green’s critics would have to admit the clutch play was a highlight-worthy moment from the four-time All-Star.

The dunk secured a critical 114-106 victory for the Warriors, who had been struggling, losing six of their last seven games. The win also avenged a loss to the Timberwolves just two nights earlier.

The matchup may have carried extra significance for Green, who has a long-standing rivalry with Gobert. The two have exchanged verbal jabs over the years, and their feud escalated last season when Green was suspended for putting Gobert in a chokehold during a November 2023 game.

Green’s overall stat line from Sunday—six points on 3-for-5 shooting, six rebounds, and seven assists—was modest, but his game-clinching bucket and fiery celebration were pivotal in the Warriors’ victory.
