[Jolly Sports News] Paul Millsap, a former NBA All-Star and veteran forward, has officially retired after 16 seasons in the league, according to multiple reports. Millsap last played for the Philadelphia 76ers in 2022.

Drafted by the Utah Jazz in the second round in 2006, Millsap’s career peaked during his time with the Atlanta Hawks, where he was named an All-Star four straight years from 2013 to 2017.

He also played for the Denver Nuggets and Brooklyn Nets, solidifying his reputation as a versatile and consistent contributor.

At his peak with the Hawks, Millsap averaged nearly 20 points and 10 rebounds per game and earned a spot on the NBA All-Defensive Second Team in 2016. His well-rounded skill set made him one of the league’s most respected players during his prime.

Earlier this year, Millsap joined Ice Cube’s BIG3 league, playing for the Aliens alongside his brothers, John and Abraham.

Over his NBA career, Millsap played 1,085 regular-season games, averaging 13.4 points and 7.1 rebounds. Notably, he is one of just eight players in league history to achieve at least 500 three-pointers, 1,000 blocks, and 1,000 steals—a testament to his all-around impact on the court.

Millsap leaves behind a legacy of hard work, consistency, and professionalism, marking the end of an impressive chapter in basketball history.
