[Jolly Sports News] The Detroit Pistons didn’t hold back in taking a shot at Kyle Kuzma after their dominant win over the Washington Wizards on Sunday.
The Pistons cruised to a 124-104 victory in their latest conference matchup and wasted no time trolling Kuzma on their official X account.
“don’t say it don’t say it don’t say it sighs at this point it’s like ‘don’t be that team,’” the post read.
The jab referenced a comment Kuzma made last season when Detroit was enduring an NBA-record losing streak.
At the time, Kuzma used the phrase “don’t be that team” to describe the pressure opponents felt to avoid being the team Detroit finally beat.
Though the Pistons went on to set an all-time record with 28 straight losses, the 2024-25 season is shaping up much differently. With a 7-8 record, they’re already halfway to last season’s win total (14). It seems Detroit is now relishing the chance to dish out some well-earned trash talk
