[Saba Sports] The Philadelphia 76ers are taking their music game to the next level, thanks to head coach Nick Nurse, who has a personal DJ traveling with the team.
Paul George, new to the 76ers after five years with the Clippers, shared his thoughts on this unique setup on his *Podcast P with Paul George* show.
“Yeah, bro, it’s different,” George said. “We have a personal DJ who plays music during practice, like when we shoot free throws. It’s a cue that keeps everyone focused. Nick’s really created a great environment for practice and improvement.”
The Sixers, now in their second season under Nurse, are aiming for a deeper playoff run. With George dealing with a knee issue and Joel Embiid managing his minutes, that DJ will have plenty of work keeping the energy up all season.
