[Jolly Sports News] Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic delivered a game-winning three-pointer against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday, sealing Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals. Doncic’s shot, with Rudy Gobert defending, lifted the Mavs to a 109-108 victory at Target Center in Minneapolis.
With Gobert draped over him, Doncic nailed the go-ahead triple with three seconds left. He then taunted Gobert, shouting, “Motherf—er! You can’t f—ing guard me!” as captured on the TNT broadcast. Doncic’s fierce words, delivered with a menacing snarl reminiscent of Kobe Bryant, went unanswered by Gobert.
Doncic finished the game with 32 points, 10 rebounds, and 13 assists, shooting 10/23 from the field. The Timberwolves, who led by as many as 18 points, saw their advantage slip away in the fourth quarter. Naz Reid, who scored a team-high 23 points off the bench and made 7 of 8 three-pointers, missed a potential game-winner as time expired.
