[Jolly Sports News] The Golden State Warriors remain competitive in the playoff race, largely due to their impressive 21-15 road record. Steph Curry is pleasantly surprised by this success away from home and jokingly suggests the team should treat every game like an away contest to replicate their road form at Chase Center.

He highlights the importance of being comfortable in hostile environments and relying on their defense to travel. Last season, the Warriors struggled with an 11-30 record on the road, making their current road performance even more noteworthy.

“Being comfortable in hostile environments, being comfortable in allowing your defense to travel and being able to rely on that, whatever the case is, it’s the polar opposite of last year,” Curry said. “I was joking that we might need to stay in hotels in San Francisco the night before home games and act like it’s a road game, take the bus in.”

Interestingly, their home record is the issue this season, with a 18-19 record at Chase Center. Currently on the fringes of the playoff race, just one game ahead of the Houston Rockets for the final play-in spot, the Warriors may consider unconventional approaches like staying in hotels before home games to address their home form.
